Welcome to the part three of my Hardened Scales primer! In part one I was talking about maindeck card choices. Part two was about our sideboard options. Part three is focused on mulliganing and strange interactions and how to outplay them.
Mulliganing
Mulliganing with Scales can be quite difficult, as some hands may look good, but are in actuality very weak. Some good guidelines to follow are:
Look for hands with an enabler, or way to get one (Ozolith, Ozolith, the Shattered Spire, Hardened Scales, Agatha’s Soul Cauldron, Urza’s Saga).
