A little over a week ago, we saw kanister taking the crown in the MOCS. Piotr has been a dear friend of mine for over a decade at this point, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to see him return to the World Championship next year. Adding another top finish to an already stellar resume makes him eligible for the Hall of Fame, which is the dream for any competitive Magic player, and I don’t doubt for one second that he’s capable of achieving this goal. The icing on this incredibly delicious cake is that his weapon of choice for the Modern portion was Esper Ketramose. This is a deck I championed shortly after Ketramose was released in Aetherdrift, back in the Breach heyday, and one I returned to recently after watching Socrates Rozakeas (aka Sokos) qualify for the Pro Tour with it at PTQ MagicCon Amsterdam.
