How’s Burn positioned in the current metagame?
In the last weeks, we could see a few metagame movements that impacted the Burn’s positioning. I wrote down the most important ones:
Scam is still at the top. It’s good news for Burn since it’s a solid matchup for us and it also keeps in check some of the more challenging ones (Amulet, Hammer, etc.). Scam being the most popular deck (over 20% of the metagame according to MTGGoldfish) is our best reason why Burn is a solid choice now.
The rise of Up the Beanstalk decks. The card did what was considered undoable a few weeks ago - it questioned the position of The One Ring as the best card advantage engine in Modern. Beanstalk in multiples can outgrind everyone and players even started playing more than...
