How should Scam adapt to the current format?

We’ve finally said goodbye to Violent Outburst, one of Modern’s most oppressive and powerful strategies for many years, and it marks a significant shift in the meta. Cascade decks, such as Crashing Footfalls and Living End are very likely to fade into the background of the Modern format in my opinion. This alone, on balance, is probably a slight nerf to Scam as typically a combination of discard, Chalice of the Void and Dauthi Voidwalker was a strong gameplan against Violent Outburst decks. The ban also will probably result in a slight uptick in big mana strategies, since cards like Force of Negation and Subtlety will be played less now. The addition of surveil lands makes...
