Hi!
Why do we play only 3 Narcomoebas?
Because 3/1 Ghoul is better at applying pressure than a 1/1 Narco.
Is it so much better than having a higher risk of fizzling?
1. Yes
2. Hitting Ghoul + Chill is as good as Narco + Amaglam. So if you flip Ghoul + Chill, you can get an additional upside of extra Amalgams if you happen to flip them too. So I wouldn’t say that the risk of fizzling went up too much. Ghoul alone is better than just Narco and both outcomes will return Amalgam anyway.
Personally, I would love to cut Narcomoeba and replace it with something better than a random 1/1, but we haven’t got a similar, but also more powerful effect yet. Maybe in the future 🙂
