UW Hammer sideboard guide

Introduction
Hammer is currently well-positioned in Modern - various spins on the archetype put up results almost each weekend. Different flex slots provide tools to fight specific matchups, but I think that the core of the deck is strong enough to win / top8 any tournament no matter what exact build you choose. Combination of fast clock and good midrange plan provides enough power and versatility to give you the fighting chance against any deck in the format.
The toughest matchups for the deck are BG Yawgmoth and Four Colour Yorion. The former deploys a lot of chump blockers early in the game, builds larger board, uses hard removal (Grist, The Hunger Tide) and has a combo kill if we wait for too long (Yawgmoth, Thran Physician with Undying creatures and drain effects). Usually, once we control a creature equipped with a Hammer we are in a dominant position, but in this matchup that’s not true.
